The estate sits on Cavvanbah, the Bundjalung name for this part of the coast, meaning meeting place. It has drawn people together for a very long time, and we hold that with care. The land does much of the work here. The light through the palms, the quiet of the paddock at dusk, the warmth of the stones after a swim. Guests often tell us they feel it within a few hours of arriving: a loosening, a deeper breath, a return to something they’d lost touch with.
